I lived in this calligrapher’s house for a week in Sale, Morocco and he made this which is my name in several different Arabic fonts and watching him make it was the coolest thing ever and ya its just awesome ok
he taught me about proportions and symmetry and how he’d mastered all this ridiculous meticulous shit and it was the coolest thing ever
